Vren makes the camp worth arriving at
BYOT builds the trailer. Vren Heierli — our guest-experience partner — delivers the delights that make the desert enjoyable. Two businesses, one proposition: the kit and the experience.
Vren Heierli
Founder of Wanderlust Events and partner in Gone Glamping. Twenty-five years staging guest experiences across the Gulf — and the first person to turn shipping containers into event venues in the UAE (the Meydan golf café, 2011, still in daily use).
Her roster is the proof: Mercedes-Benz Off-Road Experience, KTM ride weekends, Laureus, INEOS, Cartier International Polo, the Formula 1 beach club, Platinum Heritage. Roughly 10,000 guest-nights delivered, a top single invoice of AED 333k, an MESE award. Forty teepees, a working camp, a re-bookable client list.
She doesn't sell tents. She designs the night — where the fire sits, what arrives at the table, how the desert feels at 9pm with the kids asleep. That's the half of the proposition a trailer can't build.
The trailer is the kit. The experience is the reason.
A family doesn't buy aluminium and a water tank — they buy the weekend it unlocks. BYOT builds a trailer that's genuinely off-grid capable; Vren turns "we own a trailer" into "we know exactly how to use it." Rentals, demo weekends, branded camps, the content that fills the funnel — her guest-experience engine is what makes the product feel inevitable rather than optional.
The experiences she delivers
Real camps and events Vren has built and run across the UAE — desert, mountain, beach and the off-road community.
